Head of Production
Mark Franco’s career in visual and special effects spans over forty years. During this time, he has worked on iconic epic features including global blockbusters “Titanic” and “Independence Day.”
Franco’s additional credits include such special-effects driven features as “Armageddon,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “The Patriot,” “Vanilla Sky,” “Batman Forever,” “Batman & Robin,” and many more.
In 2004 Franco joined Dean Devlin’s new company Electric Entertainment producing Visual Effects on the made for television movie “The Librarian” starring Noah Wyle.
As Electric Entertainment expanded into scripted television, Franco and Devlin explored the world of Digital Post-Production embracing new technologies creating the first all digitally produced television series “Leverage” for TNT.
Franco expanded his role in 2010 moving into the role of Co-Producer on the hit series “Leverage” and on to “The Librarians” as well as the feature “Bad Samaritan”.
Currently Franco serves as Head Of Production at Electric Entertainment and serves as Producer on “Leverage Redemption” and “Almost Paradise” for Amazon Freevee as well as the science-fiction hit “The Ark” on SYFY and on the new series “The Librarians: The Next Chapter” for the CW.
